Hi!Call me Agent Hoppe, I'm the technician behind "At Night Tech".I've spent over a decade helping people solve technology problems, including four and a half years repairing and troubleshooting devices at Geek Squad and currently supporting users in a government IT environment. Over the years, I've worked on everything from broken PCs and home networks to account issues and software headaches.

I started At Night Tech because technology doesn't stop working at 5 PM.When your computer crashes late at night, your account gets locked, or you need help right now, most repair shops are closed and most support lines want you to wait until tomorrow.I don't.At Night Tech is built around after-hours support for the moments when technology decides to cause problems at the worst possible time. My goal is simple: help people get back online, get back to work, and get back to what they were doing without the frustration.No call centers. No corporate runaround. Just a local tech who's still awake.

The $5 fee confirms your request is real and gets it into the queue. You'll be contacted once it's reviewed. If your issue has a straightforward fix, I'll point you to it and close the ticket. This fee is non-refundable and doesn't lock in a specific response time — but I move fast as possible.


At Night Tech – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all services provided by At Night Tech ("ANT," "I," "me," or "my services") to the client ("Client," "you," or "your"). By requesting or accepting services, submitting a request, or making payment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.


1. Scope of Services

At Night Tech provides after-hours and on-demand technical support for personal computers, home networks, and consumer software issues, including but not limited to:

  • Basic Services: Diagnostics, password resets, account recovery assistance, and simple software troubleshooting.
  • Standard Services: Virus/malware removal, operating system troubleshooting, system optimization, and general performance fixes.
  • Complex Services: Advanced system repair, operating system restoration, deeper diagnostics, and guided data services.
  • Emergency / After-Hours Services: Urgent troubleshooting, system recovery, lockout assistance, and critical access issues outside normal business hours.
  • Hardware Services: Identification, replacement guidance, and installation of consumer hardware components when applicable.

Services may be provided remotely using trusted third-party tools (such as RustDesk or similar). Remote access will only be performed with your explicit consent.

At Night Tech does not guarantee support for all devices or systems and may decline service if a request falls outside scope or capability.


2. Fees and Payment Terms

  • A $5 request fee is required prior to service engagement. This fee confirms your submission, places your request in the queue, and helps ensure all tickets are genuine.
  • Full payment for services is required before active troubleshooting or work begins.
  • After-hours and urgent requests are prioritized based on availability and severity.
  • Any work outside the initial scope will be discussed and approved before proceeding.
  • If parts or hardware are required, costs will be communicated and approved before purchase or installation.

3. Refund Policy

  • The $5 request fee is non-refundable once a support session or evaluation has begun.
  • Refunds are not provided for time already spent diagnosing or resolving issues.
  • Hardware or third-party costs are only refundable where applicable under vendor policies.

4. Remote Support Terms

  • You grant temporary permission for system access strictly for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
  • Remote sessions are conducted using secure third-party software.
  • You may terminate a session at any time.
  • At Night Tech is not responsible for interruptions caused by internet issues, device instability, or external interference outside the session.
  • You acknowledge that remote access may expose files or system configurations necessary for diagnosis and agree to this limited access.

5. Liability and Disclaimer

  • Results for repairs, recovery, or troubleshooting cannot be guaranteed.
  • At Night Tech is not responsible for pre-existing device issues, hardware failures, or data corruption.
  • Some repair processes carry inherent risk of data loss or system instability.
  • You accept full responsibility for maintaining backups prior to service.

At Night Tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from services provided.


6. No-Show & Cancellation Policy

  • If you are unavailable at the agreed-upon time and have not provided advance notice, the session may be forfeited without refund.
  • To reschedule, please reach out before your session time whenever possible.
  • At Night Tech reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to technician unavailability, and will notify you promptly if this occurs.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • You confirm you own or are authorized to use the device and data being serviced.
  • You will provide necessary access credentials when required for troubleshooting.
  • You are responsible for backing up your own data prior to service.
  • You understand that At Night Tech does not store or retain personal data unless explicitly agreed.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

At Night Tech respects your privacy. Any data accessed during service is handled solely for the purpose of troubleshooting and repair. No data is sold or shared with third parties.

You acknowledge that limited data visibility may be required during diagnosis and consent to that access for the duration of service.


9. Electronic Agreements

By submitting a request or completing payment, you agree electronically to these Terms. Electronic acceptance carries the same validity as a physical signature.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be handled within Maricopa County, Arizona. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before legal action.


11. Updates to Terms

At Night Tech reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of changes.
